University of the Pacific's annual Women's History Month celebration involves a number of activities that celebrate women’s contributions to history, culture, and society. University of the Pacific's Women's History Month Planning Committee presents the 2025 Women's History Month Celebration.

Women's History Month Kick-Off

The 2025 Women's History Month Kick-Off will take place Friday, February 28, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. in McCaffrey Center. Enjoy live music, community connection, and shop until 4:00pm while supporting local entrepreneurs. This event honors women's contributions throughout history and highlights the ongoing need for equality and empowerment.

Saturday, March 1, 2025, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Center for Identity and Inclusion in partnership with 209Hikes and Shaw 4 Community

The event combines a scenic hike with opportunities for reflection, relaxation, and connection, all while acknowledging the legacy of women throughout history. It’s a chance to rejuvenate your mind and body while paying tribute to the strength and resilience of women past and present. 

The first 25 students to sign up will receive free transportation to and from the hike! Pacific staff and faculty are encouraged to drive themselves and join us for the day! Lunch will be provided. Sign-up required to attend:  http://tinyurl.com/ciiwomenshike

March 4, 2025, 5 p.m. - 7p.m. at the Baun Fitness Center

Pacific Recreation x Center for Identity and Inclusion

From 5:00-7:00pm, join us for a fun and supportive space where you can feel empowered to try new activities like weightlifting, explore different fitness routines, and challenge yourself alongside other women. Whether you're a beginner or experienced, this is an opportunity to boost confidence, build strength, and celebrate movement while working out in a welcoming environment. Come together to have a great time and connect with others!

The first 30 attendees will receive a wellness bag filled with goodies! No membership? No problem! The event is open to all faculty/staff without a membership.

But what is a "girl dinner"? Coined by TikToker Olivia Maher in mid-2023, "girl dinner" refers to a simple, no-cook meal made of easy-to-assemble ingredients like bread, cheese, grapes, and pickles. Create your own "girl dinner" by building a charcuterie board featuring organic vegetables, herbs, and fruit grown at the Ted and Chris Robb Garden on campus!
