PGC Takeover: GameHER Edition
PGC Takeover: GameHER Edition
05:00 p.m. - 08:00 p.m.
The Center for Identity and Inclusion and Pacific Gaming Center team up to bring you PGC Takeover: GameHER Edition! The event is all about celebrating the incredible impact women have had—and continue to have—in the gaming world! The history of women in gaming is rich and inspiring, with women playing key roles from the very beginning. From early trailblazers like Roberta Williams, co-creator of King’s Quest, to modern-day pros who are breaking barriers in esports, women have always been a powerful force in gaming. However, for years, they were often overlooked or excluded. Today, the gaming world has become a much more inclusive place, with women now making up a significant portion of the gaming community.
When: March 24, 2025
Time: 5:00pm-8:00pm
Where: Pacific Gaming Center, Ground Floor of William Knox Holt Library
This takeover is an opportunity for women gamers to come together, share their passion, and create an empowering, fun-filled environment. Whether you're a casual gamer or an esports enthusiast, we invite you to join us for a session where the focus is on having fun, making new friends, and enjoying gaming without the pressure.
